Allise Penning
|
|
Allise Penning is in a committed, long-term relationship with words. She graduated
summa cum laude in 2010 from the University of Oregon Robert D. Clark Honors College
with a degree in English. Her undergraduate Creative Writing studies culminated
in a creative thesis based on research and original poetry composition. Allise spends
her time enjoying literature of all sorts, improving her own writing skills, learning
about publishing, planning her next travel adventure and savoring life in Eugene,
OR. She plans to join the Peace Corps in the future, in which she would love to
teach English in East Africa and become fluent in Swahili. Allise also hopes to
attend graduate school for Creative Writing and work towards a future career as
a professor and aspiring poet.
